Dia Widyawati bt Amat...That's my name

For those who still do not know my name (even though, i've been teaching you for almost 2 months.grrr) my name is as written above. One more thing, i've seen a variety of spellings for my name (T_T). I prefer my name to be spelled as "Dia" and nothing else, mind you (^o^)

So cuppycakes, what's my name again??...

I'm Completely Cuckoo

I'm drowned in the sea of papers and I'm suffocated now. I got teary eyes and frozen brain andI need a break. Facebook? I'm tired of it. I want to do something passive like...i don't know. I don't feel intelligent. I'm writing gibberish now. I can't even think and it seems like my words are not coming out. They are hiding somewhere, refusing to show themselves. This must be how you feel when I ask you to do writing. Enough, i need my remedy...

super seductive

Why?Oh why? Can i borrow Harry Potter's wand and turn these pictures into real ice cream? Ok Dia, get real and do your work

ERROR IDENTIFICATION AND CORRECTION

Jijah is admitted in the hospital because she has food-poisoning. Everyone is worried about her. The university gives her a week off because of her illness. Her best friend and her family think that the days off are for her own benefit but Jijah says that staying in hospital is too boring. All day long, she only sleeps or walks around the hospital. Since neither her friends nor her rabbit is around, she uses her free time to wander around the place. Luckily, the hospital serves good food. Jijah really loves to have bread and butter to kick start her day as well as fish and chips for lunch. The fish and chips is her favourite, besides a bowl of fresh fruit salad. Every day, her nurse, along with Doctor Berahim comes to check her blood pressure. Since Doctor Berahim graduates from Harvard, his English is very good. Unfortunately, Jijah’s Javanese accent is so strong and therefore, the doctor does not understand her whenever she speaks in English. Somebody who speaks good English has to help her.

ADJECTIVES

There was a poor girl who lived alone with her mother, and they no longer had anything to eat. So the child went into the forest, and there an aged woman met her who was aware of her sorrow, and presented her with a pot, which when she said, cook, little pot, cook, would cook good, sweet porridge, and when she said, stop, little pot, it ceased to cook. The girl took the pot home to her mother, and now they were freed from their poverty and hunger, and ate sweet porridge as often as they chose. Once on a time when the girl had gone out, her mother said, cook, little pot, cook. And it did cook and she ate till she was satisfied, and then she wanted the pot to stop cooking, but did not know the word. So it went on cooking and the porridge rose over the edge, and still it cooked on until the kitchen and whole house were full, and then the next house, and then the whole street, just as if it wanted to satisfy the hunger of the whole world, and there was the greatest distress, but no one knew how to stop it. At last when only one house remained, the child came home and just said, stop, little pot, and it stopped and gave up cooking.

Try This

Here are some activities that you can do to express yourselves. Come on people, get in the move and get out of that shell.
Even though i do this activity with D1D2,D1D1 and D1B2, my D1D1 can try this on your own (will you?). Be a little crazy while acting out the scenes.

Now breathe and get in the mood...

Situation 1- What a Day
You had a morning class, gone to the post-office, waited in long lines during the day and you had just finished your night class. You are walking home with a friend and realize it is getting late. A car pulls up and asks if you want a ride. The driver and his friend seem kind and friendly. Your friend is tired and wants to take the ride but you think it's too risky. What do you do?

Situation 2 – The Trip And the Malaysian Idol Wannabe
You are going on a trip with your classmates. You and your friends want to enjoy the scenery and talk but someone in the van you are riding in decides to sing and does so for 15 minutes.. It begins to get on your nerves and you politely ask her to stop, but she doesn't. What will happen next?

Situation 3 – Neighbour Feud
The neighbours - It's 7:00 AM. You were up until 4:00 AM preparing for an important business meeting. You have to give your presentation at 9:30, and you really need another hour or two to sleep. You can't sleep because the person who lives downstairs is playing the drums.
The music students- You and your friends are drummers, and a music major. Today is your senior recital. If you don't play well you can't graduate so you have to practice as much as possible

Situation 4 – Just My Luck
The hallways at college are crowded. You leave class late because you have been talking with the chemistry teacher. You have an appointment with your dentist in less than 10 minutes. You rush out of the classroom door and bump accidentally into a group of students. Books go everywhere; angry words are exchanged. What can you do?

Situation 5 – The Truth Is Out There
You think your spouse is seeing another man/woman. You found some mysterious emails last week (what did they say?), and there are other signs as well (give some examples). You haven’t mentioned any of this to your spouse – you are especially worried that s/he will be angry that you read his/her email. You want to know if you should mention this to your spouse (if so, how should you bring it up?) or if you should wait till you know more (what will you need to wait for? How will you find out more?)

Cut the crap, people!!!

So, I have finished marking your quiz papers. Surprisingly, none of you got higher than 73.5% despite your endless attempts to cheat and thinking that i would not know. shame on you people!!!

Oh, talking about cheating. I don't think the questions were too hard. So hard that you need to cheat. Come on..Don't speak so lowly of yourself. If you think that your intelligence does not match the level of the questions, at least be a bit smart, people. Cheat smartly. Slipping notes under the tables, passing notes using stationery, using hand and head signals,eurghh..Those tricks have been used when i was in secondary school and how many years have passed? Like 10 years ago? See, how yesterday! Amateur! Unprofessional! Studying in a university, wearing matric cards, walking proudly AND YOUR CHEATING TECHNIQUES ARE SO ORTHODOX? And you even dare calling yourself university students? (shaking my heads)

You think you can play smart, so you did not study or you divide studying parts (example:Ali takes Adjectives, Abu studies subject-verb agreement, Lina takes parts of speech, so that you don't have to study all and you can exchange the answers later) but i tell you what my HUNNY BUNNIES, CUPPY CAKES, SUGAR PIES, CANDY POPS, your attempts to play smart only accentuates STUPIDITY even more.

You even insulted my intelligence by thinking that i would not know what you were doing. You frowned your face, looked at your right and left, pretending to be thinking very hard, cracking your brain to get the answer, pretending to ask your friends because you didn't understand the questions, pretending to be....ohh so many things. How PATHETIC!!
Do i need to point out names in this blog? You, amateur cheaters? Nuhh..You know who you are. Girls are included also, mind you.
I've lived long enough to know if you're cheating and thanks to you for committing those foolish cheating strategies, i could detect cheating people a thousand times easier. I can tell, just by looking at your answers. Come on, at least give me a bit of challenge to track your dirty jobs.

What about the things that you wrote in your blogs?I love you Miss Dia, i promise to pay attention in class, my English is bad, i'm so lucky to have a lecturer like you, my communication is bad, my grammar sucks, i trust you Miss Dia, i hope you can teach me, i hope this class will improve my English, i expect to learn English with support from Miss Dia, Friends and dictionary. Based on you've done the other day, it appears to me that all these things are merely CRAP!

Do you think my language is harsh and crude? This is nothing. I can swear and my words can be violent but i'll keep that to myself. No need to contaminate my credibility. So not worth it!

So people, the next time you're having a thought to cheat in my tests, BE SMARTER TO OUTSMART ME!! If you have read it, please spread this to your peers. Tell them to read this post because this stupidity has to stop. Seriously!!
